ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Eric Olson, aka White Shirt Pierce, is an enigmatic individual possessing a wealth of experience that he has very effectively put into words in his debut novel, The Quiet Spaces Between the Whirlwinds.

With a career spanning almost three decades as a counselor of children and families in crisis, Eric has dedicated his life to making a positive impact on the lives of others. He has also worked as a CPR and first-aid instructor for 20 years, and a driver’s ed instructor for 10 years. Instructing professionals on how to safely manage aggressive and violent behavior, and teaching remedial driving courses in Maine to people under the age of 25 who’ve received speeding tickets were among some of his other career endeavors.

When he is not busy with work, he can be found river canoeing, fishing, and hiking in the wilderness.
